Four Paws Keep Off! was designed to repel and deter pets and wildlife from plants, shrubs, flowers etc. The formulation uses active ingredient Denatonium Saccharide Thymol, which tastes absolutely horrendous!
The process by which some wildlife 'learns' avoidance is through tasting. Keep Off has been formulated for use directly on plants, therefore when the pet or wildlife animal eats the greenery, the taste is overwhelming terrible and the animal will not return. A two front approach can be used by using both formulations, granular and liquid, simultaneously.

Doesn't seem to work for very long and I'm questionable about it's effectiveness. I bought the granular and liquid versions and my puppy (3 months) old doesn't seem phased by this other than immediately after applying the product. I've tried other brands which seem to last longer and to be more effective.Anna, Sat Aug 04, 2012
