The cat I use this for is older and less active, but still seems to enjoy being carried in it. She tended to become very agitated in her old carrier, but was quite happy to look out of the mesh and lean against the soft sides of this one. While I wouldn't recommend it for big cats or aggressive ones, for simple trips to the vets this works fine.Mookie, Mon Oct 25, 2010
FLIMSY. Took my 15-lb cat to the vet in the large-sized carrier. Had to support the bottom with my hand. Worried about the shoulder strap attachments ripping out. Strip on top that links 2 zippers so you can pull them together let loose on 5th "zip." Petmate says this is good for airplane trips - don't believe that.
