The Easyboot Rx boot is designed for use on your horse when extra stability and support is needed. Use of the boot helps heal various conditions such as: chronic lameness, laminitis, founder, navicular and various lower limb/hoof problems. Boot is ideal for horses that have problems standing, helps recovery after injury, protects surgery or injury, reduces fatigue and offers protection while trailering. Made of lightweight, durable, and soft material. Designed for safety, boot seams and edges are rounded. Air vents help keep your horse's hooves cool and prevents dirt and debris from accumulating in the hoove. A comfort pad inside the sole provides extra support and relief. Replacement pads are sold separately. Boots are sold individually. Not intended for riding, only for a light turn out.
Directions for use:
The unique upper of the Easyboot Rx folds down and opens large enough to accommodate the wide base of a hoof, allowing for quick application without strength or force. After the hoof is placed in the Easyboot Rx, two hook and loop tabs are fastened to provide a secure fit. A quick pull on the hook and loop tabs and the Easyboot Rx is easily slipped off the hoof. Each boot has a double hook and loop lock system that prevents the boot from opening unintentionally.

How to measure for the Easyboot Rx:
After a fresh trim, measure the width of the hoof across the bottom at the widest point.
Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the buttress line of the heel. The buttress line is the farthest weight bearing point of the heel where the hoof wall ends. Do not include the heel bulbs in the measurement.
Compare your measurement with the size chart below. Please note that while most of our other boots have their own unique size charts, all of the new 2009 boots all use the same size chart.
Ideally, the length and width measurement will fit into the same size. If the length and width measurements indicate different sizes, select the larger size. If the width and length measurements are different by more than one size, your selected boot style is not recommended. Be sure to check your measurements against an alternative boot in the EasyCare line—another style may accommodate your horse’s hoof shape better.
*Be sure to size up if you plan on using bandages or 12mm Comfort Pads with the Easyboot Rx.

Used to protect hoof where vet had dug out an abcess 3 times at my horses toe. Stays on great, however, in order to get it on the hoof, I had to order a size larger than what the measurements indicated. Is saving me time and labor instead of making a duct tape bandage every couple of days that wore out.Jackie Allison, Sun Jan 30, 2011
