Rabon® is a nontoxic larvicide (meaning it kills fly larvae). Rabon prevents the development of horn flies, face flies, house flies and stable flies in the manure of treated animals. Rabon® controls fly populations by interrupting the fly life cycle and preventing larvae from developing into adults. Easylix® Rabon® Molasses Pressed Blocks work in the following manner:
- Livestock consume Rabon® as they ingest the block.
- Rabon® passes through the digestive system.
- Rabon® remains in the manure to kill developing larvae through physical contact.
