The mop is made of foam and therefore is a little sticky going in and out of the feeder. It's big and is a tight fit if you're using on the smaller feeders. I prefer the brushes for cleaning, but the mop can get into certain areas that the brush can't. They each have their purpose, and I use them both.Trudy, Sat May 21, 2011
