I have always worried about mold that can adversely affect the hummers health.
Most feeders are impossible to access all areas for cleaning to ensure no mold. These feeders are the best!

After trying several types of window mounted hummingbird feeders, have found this one to be the best; it is the only one that truly keeps the ants off the feeder.
