CryogenX blades have innovative heat reducing technology and legendary sharp cutting performance to provide the user with the coolest and sharpest blade possible. These blades also have built in AgION Antimicrobial Protection. AgION Antimicrobial Protection is proven to be very effective in preventing the growth of a broad range of bacteria, mold and mildew. They are manufactured from fine-grain carbon steel and have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 62.

Oster A5 Elite Cryogen-X Clipper Blades
Elite CryogenX blades are even further optimized with a titanium carbonitride coating increasing its overall surface hardness, making them the longest wear resistance blade Oster offers. This coating also protects blades from scratching and rusting--last longer than regular steel blades. Elite blades have a Rockwell Hardness rating of 82+.
